Custom web and software development for restaurants

A restaurant website has to do more than show the menu: it should take direct bookings and orders, with no third-party commission, and leave you the data of your customers. We build websites, apps and custom software for restaurants and hospitality groups, connected to your POS, your bookings and your kitchen.

Map of web and software solutions for a restaurant

A restaurant website that takes bookings and sells, not just a template

People looking for a restaurant want to see the menu and the opening hours and to book or order in two taps from their phone. A nice template does not solve that: what matters is what sits behind it. Bookings tied to your real calendar and capacity, a menu your team edits unaided, orders for collection or delivery, and customer data that belongs to you rather than to a platform.

We build the website to measure (fast, designed for mobile and well structured for Google) and connect it to the systems you already use. If you need an app, see our restaurant apps; if you already sell online, automatic order printing in the kitchen.

What we build for restaurants

Your own bookings on web and app

Orders reach the POS and the kitchen printer with their status, with nothing typed by hand.

Your own customer base, a points programme and email or WhatsApp campaigns with the appropriate consent.

Several venues and franchises

Own bookings and orders for a restaurant group

Problem
They relied on outside platforms for bookings and orders, paying a commission per transaction and with no access to customer data. The website was a static page with the menu as a PDF.
Solution
A custom website with an editable menu, bookings by sitting and collection orders connected to the POS, and a single dashboard to manage every venue.
Steps
  1. Analysis of how bookings and orders arrive today and what is paid for them.
  2. Connection to the POS and the booking system.
  3. Website, menu and booking and ordering flow, tested with floor staff.
  4. Launch venue by venue and monthly review of results.
Target outcome
More direct bookings and orders, lower commissions and a customer base of your own.
Technology
Custom website, POS API, certified payment gateway, email and WhatsApp notifications.

The projects on this page are illustrative, anonymised examples of how we approach this kind of work. Every real project is defined with your information, your systems and your goals.

Data, payments and integrations

  • Customer data: consent and a legal basis for every campaign, and limited retention (GDPR).
  • Allergens: the website only publishes information validated by the venue, and someone on the team is responsible for keeping it up to date.
  • Payments: certified gateway; we never store card data on your servers.
  • Integrations: POS, booking system, delivery platforms and kitchen printers via API or the connectors each vendor provides.

Where to start

  1. Decide what the website must do: bookings, orders or both.
  2. List the systems you use (POS, bookings, delivery) and which of them need connecting.
  3. Start with the website with menu and bookings and measure how many arrive through your own channel.
  4. Add orders, loyalty or an app once the first step works.

Frequently asked questions

What can a restaurant website do besides show the menu?

Take bookings against your real capacity, sell orders for collection or delivery with online payment, store your customers’ data with their consent and connect to the POS and the kitchen.

Can people book without paying a platform commission?

Yes. With your own booking system on your website and in an app you pay no commission per booking; you pay for the development once and, after that, for maintenance.

Does it connect to my POS?

It depends on the POS. Most offer an API or connectors; we check before quoting so as not to promise an integration that does not exist.

How much does a restaurant website with bookings and orders cost?

A custom website with menu and bookings costs between €3,500 and €12,000; with online orders connected to the POS, between €8,000 and €25,000. These are reference prices excluding VAT.

Do you handle Google ranking and campaigns?

We build the technical foundation (speed, an indexable menu, structured data). Managing your Google profile and marketing campaigns is better done by your own team or a marketing specialist; it is not our service.
